Jillian Barna-Stephenson
Director of Clinical & Outpatient Services
Jillian has worked in the field of recovery and mental health since 2004. She began her tenure at Duffy’s Napa Valley as a counselor in 2016 but left temporarily to be part of a special passion project, working with Redwood Community Services to help build Tule House, a successful residential perinatal SUD program in Lake County. Jillian worked for Redwood Community Services in a multitude of capacities from 2008 – 2020 in positions including supervising their Perinatal IOP and Residential programs.
Though Tule House was Jillian’s baby (pun intended), Duffy’s never left her heart. She stayed connected and continued working with Duffy’s, leading their family programming on weekends until she was called back to Duffy’s full time as their new Clinical Director in 2020.
Jillian received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling at the University of San Francisco and is currently a doctoral candidate in Leadership and Learning with a specialization in Organizational Psychology.
Jillian is guided by her strong moral ethics and hardworking nature. She is fully dedicated to supporting those who suffer from the disease of addiction. Her personal mission is to create a pathway to recovery for as many people as possible. Getting to be part of the growth and expansion of Duffy’s meets her personal and professional goals perfectly.
