Lauren Caldwell
Director of Quality & Performance Improvement
Lauren Caldwell joined the Duffy’s team in March of 2017 as a Psychiatric Technician. Her decisiveness under pressure and attention to detail quickly installed her as Team Lead and, soon after, Nursing Supervisor. Never one to be content with “good enough,” Lauren continued to apply her creative mind to improving other aspects of the program and was promoted yet again to Director of Quality and Process Improvement.
After working in addiction for some time, Lauren recognized the need for compassionate medical professionals in the field. This led to a desire to pursue a nursing career in 2010. Lauren received her degree in Health Sciences and went on to nursing school, becoming licensed in 2010 and working as a Psychiatric Technician for a local treatment center. In this role, Lauren primarily served veteran clients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders
Over her career, Lauren applied her talents and experience at several facilities, as an employee for some and a consultant for others. She specialized in helping facilities enact more efficient policies and procedures to improve their quality of care.
During her time at Duffy’s, Lauren has greatly expanded the capabilities of the medical department, spearheaded several projects to improve client satisfaction, and helped the facility meet and surpass the rigorous quality standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Lauren is committed to furthering her education for the benefit of her patients and is currently pursuing a double Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Healthcare Administration.
